I-COM 9-1-1 was formed under a cooperative Interlocal Agreement to provide emergency dispatch services for law enforcement, fire and emergency medical agencies that serve Island County (both Whidbey and Camano Island).

The Boating Safety Committee shall be responsible for analyzing, researching and making recommendations to WASPC regarding matters related to boating safety.

The primary purpose of the board is to ensure that the Washington State Patrol firearms background check unit established in section 1 of this act is administered efficiently and effectively, and in a manner that honors individual firearms rights while preventing prohibited persons from obtaining firearms.

The Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC) Executive Certification is a non-mandated career level certification. To qualify, you must hold one of the top two ranks in your agency, have obtained prerequisite First Level and Middle Management Certifications, and complete 80 hours of executive-level training.

The FBI-LEEDA Command Leadership Institute (CLI) is a four-and-a-half-day intensive seminar uniquely designed to prepare law enforcement leaders for command-level positions. The course is highly interactive and follows FBI-LEEDA's “Cops Teaching Cops” model of professional development. The Command Leadership Institute focuses on tangible best-practice strategies and techniques for those aspiring command-level assignments.
