Rick's thoughts on the 10th Amendment of the Constitution.

The states gave birth to the federal government, not the federal government to the states.  Our government today is operating way beyond those delegated powers as the federal government has been assuming more and more control over the states for decades.  As Sheriff, I will interpose myself between you the citizen and the acts of an overreaching government.

It is imperative that the states push back on this overreach.  In Idaho, an example of push-back came with the “Federal Firearm, Magazine and Register Ban Enforcement Act (2014)”.  This act basically nullifies any executive orders, laws or rules promulgated to direct law enforcement to violate their oath of office and the Constitution.
